The legislature likely will end by Friday, and must end by next Monday, 3/15. There has been a fury of activity in the past week. More details can be seen on the attached spreadsheet. Here are the highlights of the two most active bills we've been following:
HB 4006 (surety bonds in lieu of retainage) has passed both chambers and is awaiting the Governor's signature.
SB 1575 (removing duty to defend from A&E contracts) has been sent to the House floor with a do pass recommendation.
