The 2024 Legislative Session adjourned on Thursday, March 7th. Please see the attached spreadsheet for our updated tracking list.
Two bills of note:
HB 4006 (surety bonds in lieu of retainage) was signed by the Governor. It is effective from the date she signed it (March 7th), so any contracts entered into after that date are subject to this new provision.
SB 1575 (Removing Duty to Defend for A&E contractors) passed and is awaiting the Governor's signature. I'll update when this is signed (or not 🤞).
